A Message from our Director
We are excited to be able to supplement your child’s educational, social and spiritual development with our Koinonia
Children Day Camp Program. We are busily planning activities, workshops, outdoor experiences, arts and crafts, and
recreational opportunities through which your child can explore his/her strengths and unique qualities.
Our program’s mission is to build a partnership with the Church and parents in creating a better community by
developing the character of the children. We plan to reach this goal by teaching the children the principles of the
Bible, which is to love and honor God, and to respect and help other people. This year we have a special opportunity
for you to register prior to March 31, 2008 for a $25 discount per family.

About our Leaders
All of our leaders and staff are caring individuals who attend our church. They are committed to our mission to reach
out and help our community as Christians. They have undergone extensive training and team-building to ensure that
your child grows and learns in a safe, wholesome environment. We maintain a small leader-to-children ratio so that
we can provide your child with the personal care and attention he/she needs.
Koinonia Children Day Camp (KCDC)
The Koinonia Children Day Camp’s primary focus is to develop the character of each child using Christian principles
in a safe and fun environment. Children will be actively involved in learning new skills, with an emphasis on respect
and responsibility. Activities include arts & crafts, music, science, sports recreation, and field trips.
Dates: June 23 – August 1
*Time: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Grades: 1 through 9 (Fall 2008) Ages: 6 through 14
Cost: $650 for all 6 weeks, or $130 per week
(2nd child discount: $100 off for all 6 weeks)
* Extended care is offered before and after the program: 7:30am-9:00am and 4:30pm-6:00pm. Cost is $200 for all 6 weeks, or
$50 per week.
Children that are currently in 6th-8th grades may also enroll in our week-long Residence camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains from August 3-9. Early Registration cost for the residence camp is $325.

Academy School Offices. Our staff will contact you by Mail to confirm your acceptance and registration into our
Program. No Refunds unless they are not accepted into the program.
